CrossChx to Drive Healthcare
‘Back to the Future’ at HIMSS 2016

Exhibit to Showcase Latest Patient-First Innovations, Including Queue, a Modern Registration Solution Built to Improve Patient Experiences and Reduce Wait-Times

COLUMBUS, Ohio, February 22, 2016 – Demonstrating its commitment to building a better patient experience, CrossChx, the leader in identity resolution for smarter healthcare, will showcase a glimpse of the healthcare lobby of the future at 2016 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition. The highlight of the company’s display, Feb. 29 – March 3 in Las Vegas, is a patient check-in solution called Queue, which works to streamline hospital workflows and is proven to reduce patient wait-times up to 80 percent.

In addition to demonstrations of Queue, visitors to CrossChx booth number 10122 will get a chance to take a picture with a DeLorean “Time Machine,” similar to the one that transported characters through time in the popular movie franchise, “Back to the Future.”

“Just like the time machine’s ‘flux capacitor,’ the solutions we build are critical to carrying healthcare into the future,” said Sean Lane, CEO and Co-Founder of CrossChx. “We encourage any HIMSS attendee to stop by and learn more about the solutions we offer to build a better patient experience.”

Using traditional means of registration, patients spend an average of 22 minutes waiting to see a healthcare provider, according to a survey of 2.4 million patients by Press Ganey Associates. The same report found patient satisfaction dropped significantly with each five minutes of waiting time. Queue offers administrators access to advanced analytics that that have helped hospitals achieve a five minute wait-time for every four out of five patients.

“We firmly believe that building a better patient experience begins in the waiting room,” Lane said. “As one of the patient’s first touchpoints, Queue offers an intuitive, modern check-in experience and indicates that their healthcare provider values their time, convenience and security just as much as their health and wellness.”

The Queue registration system includes a mounted touchscreen tablet equipped with CrossChx identity resolution software that accurately captures patient data, dedupes records, catches errors in patient medical profiles, and verifies patients’ identities to prevent medical mistakes and fraud. It also includes a wall-mounted display that shows patients their estimated wait-time. For more information about Queue, visit
